Key Responsibilities:

• Environmental Testing Consultation: Collaborate closely with our design team to specify, devise, and execute comprehensive environmental testing plans for various mechanical components and assemblies. Your expertise will ensure our products meet rigorous performance standards throughout their lifecycle.

• Test Plan Development: Lead the creation of detailed test plans that cover development, qualification, and acceptance testing phases. Your strategic approach will help define optimal test conditions and methods tailored to each product.

• Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of mechanical systems against established requirements. You will analyze tested structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms to ensure they meet or exceed expected performance margins.

• Design Influence: Utilize your analytical skills to interpret test results and recommend design improvements. Your insights will directly influence product enhancements and innovations.

• Instrumentation and Setup: Define instrumentation requirements for test setups, analyze responses, and correlate data with predictive models. Your technical acumen will drive the accuracy and reliability of our testing processes.

• Test Equipment Design: Conceptualize and design test jigs, stands, and associated equipment. You will oversee the production of fabrication drawings, wiring schematics, and instrumentation lists to ensure effective implementation.

• Facility Management: Maintain and enhance our in-house R&D testing facilities, ensuring they remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, facilitating their development and ensuring project responsibilities are met with excellence.

• Hands-On Assembly: Be prepared to assemble and disassemble flight hardware and test equipment as necessary, demonstrating your versatility and hands-on expertise.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of Test and Evaluation experience in the aerospace or defense industry, with a deep understanding of environmental testing processes.

• Education: Hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (NTC5, T3, B.Tech/T4, M.Tech) or equivalent technical qualifications.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Product Data Management (PDM), and have a strong foundation in mathematics.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical personnel.
