As a Senior Manager - Bids and Contracts, your primary role is to oversee the bidding process for contracts, manage proposal submissions, negotiate terms and conditions, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Your goal is to secure profitable contracts while minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities for the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Bid Preparation - Develop compelling and competitive bids by coordinating with various departments, centralize Customer Tenders, understanding Customer requirements, and ensuring the bid aligns with the company's capabilities.
  • Contract Negotiation - Lead negotiations with Customers or vendors to establish favorable terms and conditions, balancing the organization's interests with Customer expectations.
  • Risk Management - Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts, proposing mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Compliance Assurance - Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in contracts, and work closely with legal teams to minimize legal risks.
  • Relationship Building - Cultivate positive relationships with Customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to enhance the organization's reputation and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Cost Analysis - Conduct thorough cost analyses to determine pricing strategies, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management - Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to closure, including monitoring performance, addressing issues, and facilitating contract amendments when necessary.

 

Educaion and Minimum Qualification

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or any related discipline is required.
  • Prior experience in bid management is crucial, showcasing your ability to lead successful bids and proposals.
