Designed for high-performing, high-potential STEM graduates, the EDGE IGNITE Programme provides a unique and powerful start to your career. While working full-time within the UAE’s advanced technology group for defence and beyond, you experience 15 months of holistic, high-impact, online and in-person training, personalised mentorship, and valuable skill-building.
EDGE IGNITE begins with an intensive four-week onboarding that covers everything you need to perform well in today’s workplace, while also introducing you to EDGE Group and to the domains in which we operate. The Programme continues with quarterly workshops to build technical and behavioural skills, and opportunities to meet the Group’s most senior leaders.
By the time you complete the EDGE IGNITE Programme, you will have gained a solid foundation, accelerating your development as a future leader within the Group.

EDGE IGNITE begins after you accept employment with an EDGE Group entity. Within a month or so of starting work, you will join a cohort of up to 20 other recent hires in an intensive four-week onboarding programme.
During the onboarding, you will study and practice a comprehensive set of skills designed to drive your success and performance in the workplace. You will learn personal and interpersonal skills, and workplace and business tools, gain familiarity with key topics and issues related to our industries, and receive a full overview of EDGE Group.

With this new knowledge, you then begin your job full-time. Every three months, you will gather with your cohort for several days of specialised instruction, workshops, and sessions with business leaders.
Throughout the multifaceted Programme, you will receive ongoing mentoring and coaching from an EDGE leader, earn Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, experience customised job shadowing, undergo training on key systems and tools in your business, and learn from subject-matter experts in your field. 
The Programme concludes at the final quarterly session with a graduation ceremony attended by senior EDGE leadership.

Designed for exceptional talents who have proven themselves in university and demonstrated a passion and aptitude for success, EDGE IGNITE is highly selective. Requirements include:

  • UAE National
  • Degree in STEM field
  • High GPA and/or excellent academic results in STEM disciplines (or a unique STEM skillset)
  • Strong performance in IQ and EQ assessments
  • Successful technical and behavioural interviews
