Senior Specialist Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary:

EDGE Commercial and is seeking a strategic, Senior Specialist FP&A – Finance Operations, Reporting & Management Analytics.

This role is the finance operations and reporting anchor for EDGE Commercial and EDGE Global.

It ensures:

•              Reliable and timely financial close

•              High-quality reporting and compliance

•              Clean balance sheet governance

•              Strong audit coordination

•              Clear management P&L, G&A, and cost center visibility

The role translates statutory accounting data into management decision views, enabling leadership to manage the business through a true operational P&L lens rather than a legal entity structure.

• Ensure audit-readiness and compliance

• Deliver reliable actuals for FP&A and consolidation

• Strengthen balance sheet discipline

• Build and maintain management P&L, G&A, and cost center analytics

• Align statutory views with management views

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Operations & Close

• Lead month-end close for assigned entities scope

• Coordinate with GL, AP, Treasury, FP&A, Commercial and  Project Finance

• Validate manual journals entries, accruals, IC recharges, provisions, adjustments…

• Ensure P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow integrity

Output: On-time close, minimal post-close corrections

2. Reporting & FP&A Support

• Produce monthly, quarterly, annual reporting packs

• Deliver variance analysis and management commentary

• Provide clean actuals for forecasting and consolidation

• Translate TB/GL data into management reports

Output: Consistent, management-ready reporting

3. Balance Sheet Governance

• Coordinate balance sheet quality reviews (EBS, project finance, controllership,).

• Coordinate key accounts (GR/IR, intercompany, accruals, advance/prepayment, AP/AR).

• Drive resolution of aged and unclear balances.

Output: Clean balance sheet, low risk exposure

4. Audit, Compliance & Controls

Build and maintain the audit & compliance tracker

Coordinate the dispatch of audit and compliance requests to the relevant finance functions based on scope :

Project Finance → project-related items

EBS Finance → GL, AP, AR, Treasury

Commercial Finance → commercial scope (order intake, contract status, guarantees,…)

FP&A → management reporting scope

Track progress, updates, and completion status and flag delays, risks, and gaps in the tracker

Monitor compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and controls, escalating issues where required

Output: Structured audits, timely responses, minimal findings

5. Management P&L, G&A & Cost Center Analytics

• Own G&A and cost center analytical reporting and distribute to business leaders

• Build management P&L views for EDGE Commercial & EDGE Global

• Manage mixed structures where cost centers sit across multiple legal entities

• Reconcile statutory P&L with management P&L views

• Produce analytics for budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance management

Output: Single management view of cost, accountability, and performance
