Job Summary:

The Project Finance Specialist provides financial support for EDGE Acquisition’s project finance activities, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role helps ensure the financial accuracy and compliance of project-related transactions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and forecasts.
• Perform detailed financial analysis on project performance and variance analysis.
• Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• Compile financial data and assist in the preparation of project financial reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
• Collaborate with other EDGE entities to ensure alignment

Key Skills

• Strong financial modelling skills to create and interpret complex financial forecasts and scenarios.
• Knowledge of financial instruments such as debt, equity, bonds, and project financing structures.
• Risk management expertise to mitigate financial, operational, and market risks.
• Understanding of project contracts and legal frameworks, including regulatory and compliance knowledge.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, especially when facing unforeseen challenges.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project finance or financial analysis, with a background in international defence or manufacturing companies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
