Job Title: Accountant 

Role Objective

To support the goals of finance department in execution of controls over recording and reporting of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

Handles preparation of Purchase and General Journal vouchers, charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports, and recording entries. Maintains and verifies accounting ledgers, reconciles work by checking entries and comparing system reports to balances. Manages and secures petty cash, prepares petty cash statements, and updates outward letters of credit, loans, interest, and margin summaries. Prepares wire transfers, payment vouchers, and updates the Aging of Payables report, ensuring timely settlements. Monitors supplier payments and credit notes, completes accurate reports for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, and coordinates financial audits. Assists in implementing internal financial controls and procedures. Prepares sales, receipt, and general journal vouchers, updates inward letters of credit, and creates sales invoices and related documents for LC or direct remittance. Maintains the sales register, order book, and tracks receipts, cash, credit invoices, and deposits. Monitors customer receipts and invoices, oversees accounts receivable, reconciles bank and company accounts, and handles daily receipts, monthly revenue sheets, and spreadsheets. Ensures accurate monthly transaction recording, updates revenue tracking, and manages fixed asset reporting in compliance with capitalization and depreciation policies. Develops inventory analysis reports, monitors inventory transactions, reconciles them to the ledger, and ensures timely completion of all closing reports. Coordinates audit preparations as needed.

Key Requirements

• A bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting related
• CPA or CMA 
• Knowledge of ERP structure (SAP, Oracle Financial, Microsoft AX, etc.)
• Uses Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
• 2 to 3 years accounting experience with Knowledge of Cost Accounting
• Manufacturing industry experience
