CAD/CAM Technician

As a CAD/CAM Technician, you will prepare and optimize NC programs for CNC machining, create and modify 3D CAD models, and support the production of high-quality precision components. Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams, you will ensure machining programs meet technical specifications while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models and prepare NC programs for CNC machining.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Optimize machining programs, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Support first article validation and production readiness.
• Maintain program documentation and revision control.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Machining, or a related discipline.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Ability to create 3D models and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and manufacturing practices.
