Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics, including anti-corruption, data privacy, and ethical conduct.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and recommend appropriate actions.
- Investigate compliance concerns or violations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on compliance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Participate in compliance-related meetings and committees to share updates and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in compliance management.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify compliance risks and develop appropriate strategies for mitigation.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Proficiency in using compliance software and tools for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Knowledge/Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus
- Preferred 12 years of experience in experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management
