Key Responsibilities :

• Fabricate composite parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare composite materials, including cutting, shaping, and laying up layers of fabric or pre-preg material.
• Apply resins and adhesives to composite materials and components.
• Use hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, sanders, and grinders, to trim, shape, and finish composite parts.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Repair damaged or defective composite parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in composites preferred.
• Proven experience working with composite materials in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Strong knowledge of composite fabrication techniques, including layup, vacuum bagging, and curing processes.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to composite fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with composite repair techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of composite material testing and characterization methods.
