Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Handle the coordination of all service requests received for both premises and equipment maintenance in coordination with the relevant departments and the customer as required.
  • Receive, record and classify all service requests using the tracking system and then relating the requests to the Facilities Maintenance team.
  • Manage the twenty-four-hour call centre and coordinate with the Facilities Maintenance Emergency Team.
  • Coordinate the necessary documents relating to premises and equipment maintenance for the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate the necessary documentation for proper disposal of condemned items as per the Annual Life Cycle Plans by arranging needed resources such as transportation, forklifts etc.
  • Provide support regarding purchase requests through follow ups with concerned parties.
  • Comply with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
  • Ensure all issued tools, uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is accounted for, maintained and secured.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
  • Support other members of the Facilities Department in fulfilling their roles.
  • Perform other duties as required by their line manager and/or the Manager, Facilities.

 

 

 

 

Experience and Education:

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred; in a related field would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field is required.
  • Previous military experience or is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required. 
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills are required.
  • Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license
