Are you a skilled technician with a passion for defense technology and exceptional customer service? Halcon is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in supporting our cutting-edge guided glide weapon systems.

 

Position: Customer Support Specialist (Integrated Logistics Support)

As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our technical support efforts, ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our advanced weapon systems. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Design & Testing: Attend design reviews and development tests to understand the guided glide weapon system’s operating principles and practical support requirements.
  • Field Support: Visit customer sites to perform diagnostics, inspections, and tests. Provide hands-on support for operating, maintaining, and managing weapon systems.
  • Documentation: Assist in compiling, reviewing, and updating technical publications and training materials.
  • Customer Relations: Understand and address customer needs, assist in fielding planning, and provide training to customer personnel.
  • Problem Solving: Identify technical issues, take immediate action to resolve them, and manage the implementation of corrective actions.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in defense, with extensive experience in weapon systems maintenance and training. At least 3 years of experience with Guided Glide Weapons.
  • Technical Skills: Technical qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines. Proficiency in fault finding, diagnostics software, and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of customer organization.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work outside normal office hours as needed and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE military support environments, safety regulations, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) systems.
