Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise faculty in the undertaking of training needs analysis and the annual training review.
- Ensure training school compliance with the project contract and directives provided by the Customer
- Oversee the development and implantation of new or revised training school policies, procedures and programs.
- Recommend enhanced courseware delivery systems and training school redesign initiatives for implementation over the length of the contract.
- Oversee the development and execution of a curriculum to support the Professional Military Education (PME) program.
- Review all department activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and established AL TAIF Quality and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Responsible for the coordination, planning, preparing, reviewing and execution of the ATP in accordance with the project contract.
- Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System program.
- Oversee the development of performance metrics for the department to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are met or exceeded.
- Develop, monitor and manage the annual budget of the training school.
- Oversee the implementation of the training strategy; ATP; approved curriculum, policies, procedures and programs; a Mobile Training Team (MTT) program; courseware delivery capabilities; and maintenance school redesign initiatives.
- Control the management and continuous improvement of the learning management system.
- Advise top management of the most advanced technical approaches to technical training.
- Develop and manage the training school’s technical apprentice program.
- Conduct training needs analysis and annually assess training effectiveness across all functional areas.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documents.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree required Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in same field
- A minimum of ten to twelve years managerial experience (manager, dean, leader etc.) is required, in a military environment is preferred.
- A minimum of six years of experience as Director/Dean of a training institution is preferred
- Previous experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are an advantage.
- Experience and/or knowledge in developing training, education and/or leader programs in compliance to ISO 10015 guidelines; professional military education development systems; training, evaluation and analysis programs; distributed learning technologies; and mobile training team programs is required

- An excellent grasp of Microsoft Office software is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
- A valid UAE driver’s license.
