Key Responsibilities:

 

 Electronic Assembly:

Assemble electronic components and systems according to engineering specifications and drawings.

Utilize soldering techniques to join and connect electronic components on circuit boards.

Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering with high precision.

Testing and Quality Control:

Conduct functional tests on assembled electronic systems to ensure they meet quality standards.

Identify and troubleshoot any defects or issues in electronic assemblies.

Utilize circuit fault finding skills to diagnose and rectify issues efficiently.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of assembly and testing processes.

Document any modifications or changes made during the assembly and testing phases.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in electronic assembly, including soldering irons, rework stations, and testing instruments.

Circuit Fault Finding:

Diagnose and rectify circuit faults in electronic assemblies.

Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and analyze circuitry.

Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Provide feedback to the engineering team on the manufacturability and quality of electronic designs.

Compliance:

Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards during the assembly process.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

 

 Experience and Education:

 

Associate's degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

 A minimum of ten years of Proven experience as an Electronics Technician with a focus on soldering.

 Strong background in electronic circuit fault finding.

  • Exceptional soldering skills with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  •  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  •  Proficient in troubleshooting electronic circuits.
  •  Knowledge of electronic components and circuitry.
