Engineer, Quality Calibration

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs End-Item Quality Control Checks on calibrated items within the Calibration Laboratory and Validates results for compliance.
• Verifies Metrological Traceability of laboratory equipment and Calibration Measurement Capability (CMC) are up-to-date with the current conditions of the Calibration Laboratory.
• Performs scheduled or random line audit to verify Preventive Maintenance and Intermediate Checking records are conducted in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
• Verifies accuracy and correctness of Calibration Certificate in compliance with ISO 17025 and EAIC Requirements prior release.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree is required; in Engineering would be an advantage.
• A minimum of five years of experience working in calibration or handling calibration activities is required.
• An understanding of quality and technical auditing requirements as per the ISO/IEC 17025 standard is required
• Knowledge on the ISO/IEC 17025 standard is required
• Experience with Microsoft Office software is required, proficient in Excel is required
• An ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
• The ability to conduct and formulate Uncertainty measurement computations is preferred.
