Key Responsibilities

  • Assist HSE Specialist in preparation and developing the HSE SOP /guidelines.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with other departments to implement HSE controls and improvements.
  • Oversee and monitor the operational activities on the shop floor to ensure safety.
  • Perform regular HSE patrols, inspections and/or walk-throughs of facilities.
  • Identifying and monitoring hazardous situations.
  • Conduct and review HSE Risk analysis/ registers.
  • Monitor the Contractors/ service provider activities.
  • Verify the Permit to Work (PTW) has been issued for contractor activities.
  • Prevent unsafe activities and advise the team on corrective actions.
  • Monitor the unsafe acts and work behavior and perform corrective actions in coordination with the relevant area supervisors.
  • Investigate incident or near-misses and coordinate with responsible for the root cause analysis.
  • Manage safety complaints or safety concerns.
  • Follow-up on actions resulting from incident investigations to be closed.
  • Follow up on the closure of open HSE actions.
  • Conduct EPI HSE inductions for contractor and service provider employees.
  • Check, verify, and ensure that all HSE records are maintained.
  • Ensuring HSE KPI's are being met and updated.
  • Participate in Safety Tool Box Talks conducting by Operations
  • Provide guidance on the HSE corrections.
  • Ensure that all fire-fighting equipment(s) are inspected as per the schedule.
  • Monitor and coordinate in Emergency drill.
  • Prepare the Environment Aspect/impact with relevant process owner.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant field
  • NEBOSH IGC Certificate
  • Abu Dhabi OSHAD Practitioner Course is preferable
  • ISO 45001 & 14001 training Courses.

 

 

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experiences in Machining Aerospace, Defence and/or Oil & Gas Field
