External Job Description

Performs critical compliance inspections for AL TAIF TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC during equipment/component rebuild and overhaul operations to ensure quality standards. Executes the Quality Management System (QMS) with focus on continuous process improvement and customer requirements. Documents inspection findings and prepares quality reports. Ensures compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards, as well as applicable HSE directives, company policies, manuals, procedures, and work instructions. Supports a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Conduct QC inspections of Heavy vehicles, components, assemblies, or spares as assigned.
  • Verify maintenance/repair tasks are completed as per job plans and all reported faults are corrected.
  • Inspect fourth-line repairable items and apply appropriate identification tags.
  • Conduct spot checks on equipment, spares, electrical components, and testing/measuring/diagnostic equipment; verify incoming/outgoing items for serviceability.
  • Liaise with mechanics, supervisors, managers, and internal/external customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct classification inspections, determine serviceability, and process items for customer condemnation approval.
  • Test suspected material deficiencies and prepare Material Deficiency Reports (MDRs).
  • Provide QC input for Corrective Maintenance (CM) job plans and Annual Service Plans (ASP).
  • Ensure obsolete parts are removed, repairable items identified/tracked, and spares properly staged in material stores.
  • Coordinate verification of non-OEM spares upon delivery and acceptance.
  • Sort, control, and identify suspected nonconforming spares in material stores.
  • Prepare reports and compile/analyse quality and defect data as requested by the Manager, QC.
  • Support root cause analysis of customer rejects/warranty concerns.
  • Support other Quality team members and perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager, QC/Senior Manager, Quality.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical degree/diploma relevant to the Inspector, QC role preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Heavy vehicles, components, assemblies, spares, failure analysis, engineering, or welding, as applicable.
  • Previous Inspector, QC experience is an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year in a senior role in the relevant technical area preferred.
  • Tool and Die or related certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/owner’s manuals.
  • Knowledge of relevant measuring instruments/equipment and finished-product verification.
  • Knowledge of FMEA and validation/verification methods preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • CMMS and SAP production/quality module experience is an advantage.
  • Effective English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Vehicle/forklift driving license, or ability to obtain one, preferred.
  • Valid UAE Driver’s License.
