MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections on vehicles, equipment, components, and fabricated systems.
  • Verify that all preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, breakdown repairs, accident repairs, and component replacements are completed according to approved procedures and standards.
  • Confirm that all identified faults and defects are properly diagnosed, repaired, tested, and documented before work order closure.
  • Inspect mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems to ensure safety, functionality, and operational readiness.
  • Witness and validate operational and performance tests, including road tests, brake tests, hydraulic systems, generators, PTOs, pumps, aerial platforms, lighting systems, and emergency equipment.
  • Conduct serviceability assessments and support decisions regarding acceptance, release, rework, rejection, or hold status of vehicles and equipment.
  • Verify that all spare parts, materials, lubricants, filters, and components used are approved, suitable, and correctly installed.
  • Review maintenance documentation, work orders, inspection reports, defect reports, test records, and maintenance histories to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
  • Prepare inspection reports, quality reports, nonconformity reports (NCRs), corrective action records, and other technical documentation.
  • Identify and report defects, poor workmanship, safety concerns, recurring failures, non-compliance issues, and incomplete repairs.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions for recurring defects and quality concerns.
  • Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, operations teams, procurement, stores, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve quality and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management system requirements.
  • Verify that vehicles and equipment are handed over in a safe, clean, complete, and operational condition.
  • Support emergency response requirements, on-call duties, travel, relocation, and other operational needs as required.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management related to quality control, inspection, fleet maintenance, and workshop operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or technical certification in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in fleet maintenance, vehicle repair, workshop inspection, or specialized equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical report preparation.
  • Valid UAE light vehicle driving license required; heavy vehicle driving license preferred.
  • English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, on-call duties, emergency response assignments, travel, rotation, and relocation across project locations as required.
