About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – Networking to lead the design, implementation, integration, testing, optimization, and support of secure network infrastructure for large-scale technical security and surveillance projects.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of robust, secure, and high-availability networking solutions that support TSS, C4ISR, Wide Area Surveillance, VMS, IVAS, RF systems, access control systems, command centers, unmanned systems, and other mission-critical platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise and security networking, IP communications, cybersecurity, systems integration, and complex project delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of secure IP network infrastructures for technical security and surveillance solutions.
- Develop network solutions that meet operational, cybersecurity, availability, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Ensure seamless connectivity and integration between sensors, radars, cameras, video management systems, command centers, access control systems, RF systems, and C4ISR platforms.
- Conduct network integration, testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and acceptance activities.
- Develop network design documents, implementation plans, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide technical leadership for issue resolution and system optimization.
- Support project planning, risk management, technical reviews, and customer engagements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, design, and implementation.
- Proven experience leading networking activities for large-scale infrastructure, security, defense, surveillance, or critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of IP networking principles, routing, switching, and network security.
- Experience with enterprise-grade networking technologies and equipment.
- Hands-on experience integrating networking solutions with surveillance, security, and command-and-control environments.
- Strong knowledge of network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization methodologies.
- Experience working in complex, multi-vendor integration environments.
