ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialized production machinery efficiently while ensuring that productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate assigned production machinery safely and efficiently to achieve required productivity targets.
• Follow approved work instructions and machine operating procedures.
• Monitor production output and ensure components meet required quality specifications.
• Inspect manufactured components at specified intervals using appropriate measuring instruments and gauges.
• Complete production check sheets, data control sheets, and other required production records.
• Identify quality deviations and support efforts to reduce rejection and scrap rates.
• Perform daily machine checks and accurately update maintenance check sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Follow applicable quality procedures and standards.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all HSE requirements and safe working procedures.
• Report machine issues, safety hazards, incidents, and production concerns promptly.
• Support risk assessment activities and follow established emergency and evacuation procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Industrial Training Certificate; or
• High School qualification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant technical/industrial experience.
• Previous experience operating specialized or special-purpose machinery within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Practical knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges.
• Understanding of production quality requirements and component inspection.
• Ability to follow technical work instructions and established operating procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
