Manager - Legal & Contract Manager Management
Position Overview:
As Legal & Contract Manager, you will oversee the full contract lifecycle for our global supply chain, where you will be driving compliance, optimizing commercial value, and mitigating risk. This is a high-impact position requiring deep expertise in defense procurement regulations, strategic negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Do:
- Lead end-to-end contract management: negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster transparency and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms—covering pricing, delivery, quality, and IP rights.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks such as delays, cost overruns, and performance gaps.
- Draft and refine contract language to ensure clarity and minimize ambiguity.
- Negotiate new contracts and amendments to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and address deviations swiftly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) for seamless execution.
- Stay current with defense industry regulations and integrate compliance into contract strategy.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on contract performance and risk areas.
What We Require:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 5+ years of contract management experience, ideally in the defense sector
- Proven success negotiating complex, high-value contracts
- Deep understanding of defense procurement regulations
