Role Summary

As the Manager Onboarding, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the onboarding experience at EDGE. You’ll lead the pre-boarding and onboarding journey for new hires, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and engaging experience across our business clusters. You will design and implement scalable processes, manage a growing team, and collaborate cross-functionally with HC, IT, Security, Facilities, and Business Leadership in a highly matrixed and complex organizational structure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Build, lead, and mentor a team responsible for onboarding logistics and functional coordination.
    • Drive a high-performance culture, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Pre-boarding & Onboarding Operations
    • Own end-to-end onboarding operations from offer acceptance through the first 90 days of employment.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HC Business Partners, and department heads to ensure readiness and alignment.
    • Coordinate with IT, Security, and Facilities for timely provisioning of assets, access, and workspace.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Design and implement scalable onboarding workflows using automation tools and HRIS platforms.
    • Identify inefficiencies and develop data-driven solutions to streamline and standardize operations across business units.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed environment with multiple internal stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related escalations and queries.
  • Employee Experience
    • Continuously assess and improve the onboarding experience using feedback, analytics, and benchmarking best practices.
    • Ensure the onboarding experience reflects EDGE’s values, culture, and brand.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure all onboarding processes are compliant with internal policies and UAE labor laws.
    • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all functional onboarding processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HC operations or onboarding, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience working in a matrixed, complex, multi-entity organization.
  • Strong track record in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience implementing HC technology solutions and process automation tools.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus but not required.
