Position Summary
Lead and manage all production testing activities for propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards, operational efficiency, and safety. Oversee test planning, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting to guarantee product integrity and readiness for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies for propulsion systems, including functional, performance, and endurance testing.
- Supervise and mentor technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to validate test requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment; ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards.
- Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years in aerospace testing or propulsion systems; leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and troubleshooting.
- Certifications: AS9100, Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP (preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
