Manager Risk Management (Contract Based)

 

Core Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage risk assessment cycles for all entities within scope.
  • Manage day-to-day division operations and resourcing.
  • Drive continuous improvement and capability-building initiatives.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to Director– Risk Management and Resilience.
  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives and maintain risk registers.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Lead development and updates on Company Risk Appetite and Risk Tolerance.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to risk management.
  • Coordinate risk mitigation projects and track progress on risk action plans.
  • Supervise Sr. Specialists to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
  • Provide strategic risk advisory to business units and leadership.
  • Facilitate risk awareness training and build a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.

Experience:

  • At least 10+ years proven experience in Risk Management
  • Experience in UAE or Middle East is preferred
  • Team management experience is essential

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.
  • Risk related Certifications like CERM, CRISC, ISO 31000 Lead Implementer, ISO 31000 Lead Auditor etc. is desirable

  • Proficient in risk management software and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
