Job Summary:

As a Material Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted flow of production by managing material availability, monitoring stock levels, and aligning supply with production schedules. You will leverage your planning expertise and SAP system knowledge to optimize material flow, support efficiency, and enhance operational performance across multiple projects.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure adequate supply of materials to meet production schedules and maintain minimum stock levels.

• Create purchase requisitions (PRs) based on demand forecasts to fulfill production and customer requirements.

• Analyze supply trends and customer demands to develop and maintain accurate inventory schedules.

• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile against target levels to ensure accuracy.

• Monitor material flow, identify bottlenecks, and proactively adjust schedules to mitigate risks.

• Leverage SAP for demand planning, scheduling, and maintaining process accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, and suppliers) to share updates on material availability, changes, and timelines.

• Prepare and present regular reports and insights to management, highlighting performance and improvement opportunities.

• Drive process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across material planning operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• 5–8 years of proven experience in material planning and scheduling across multiple projects.

• Strong expertise in SAP (material planning, scheduling, and reporting).

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

Preferred:

• 4+ years of experience within the defense, aerospace, or related industry in the region.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize inventory and resolve supply chain challenges.

• Advanced SAP user with a track record of driving efficiency in material planning processes.
