About the Opportunity

We're building a modern hybrid multicloud platform and are looking for a hands-on Network Security Engineer to design, build, and own the network security architecture from the ground up in a Data Center environment.

This is not a traditional firewall administration role. We're seeking an engineer who can architect secure, resilient, and scalable network environments across data centre and cloud platforms, with security embedded by design.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and implementing secure network architectures across on-premises and cloud environments
• Building and managing Cisco-based network infrastructure
• Deploying and operating security controls including firewalls, WAFs, IPS, proxies, and micro-segmentation
• Implementing Zero Trust principles and modern segmentation strategies
• Designing secure hybrid cloud connectivity and WAN architectures
• Leveraging Nutanix Flow and similar technologies to enforce policy-driven security controls
• Automating network and security operations wherever possible

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and enterprise security platforms
• Proven experience designing secure network architectures rather than simply operating them
• Experience implementing Zero Trust, segmentation, and micro-segmentation strategies
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking and cloud security controls
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and operational security skills
• Someone who knows, understands and can build Azure Landing Zones, ExpressRoute and virtual security stacks in Azure

For this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• Strong foundation in networking concepts, including switching and routing
• Experience designing and implementing secure network architectures
• Hands-on delivery of segmentation strategies or Zero Trust initiatives
• Ability to solve complex security challenges across both data centre and cloud environments
• A proven track record of reducing risk, improving resilience, and automating network security operations
