External Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Execute the approved integrated management system audit plan and conduct scheduled internal audits of AL TAIF in a timely manner;
• Conduct special audits as directed by the Senior Manager, Quality;
• Prepare audit checklist to include project contract, ISO standards, EIAC and other requirements that reflect targeted operations;
• Document internal audit findings and prepare recommended opportunities for improvement (OFI’s) and/or corrective action(s) when required to correct a non-conformance;
• Prepare the minutes of meeting for internal audits and distribute to the auditees when needed;
• Maintain the status of, and follow up/track corrective actions and opportunities for improvement to completion, and verify them in timely manner;
• Perform site visits in different AL TAIF locations throughout the UAE.
• Maintain and update Corrective Action request (CARs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFI’s) logs;
• Assist with the preparation of eternal audits as directed by the Supervisor, QA Audit, Assistant Manager, QA and Senior Manager, Quality;
• Assist in training and provide awareness for all employees in preparation for external audits;
• Assist with creating trend analysis reports of internal audit processes as directed by the Supervisor, QA Audit, Assistant Manager, QA and Senior Manager, Quality;
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information;
• Understand the management-approved Risk Framework and actively participate in the Risk Management Program.
• Identify and report potential risks related to QHSE, legal, and contractual aspects while performing IMS audits.
• Verify the auditee department’s Risk and Opportunity Log to ensure that mitigation plans are implemented.
• Support other members of the internal audit team in fulfilling their roles;
• Perform other duties as required by their line manager and/or department managers.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

• High School Diploma is required, bachelor’s degree in engineering would be preferred;
• Two or four years of experience working in a quality auditing role is required;
• Two or four years of experience as a multi-skilled specialist auditing in a technical field is preferred;
• Auditor certification in the most up to date any Management System (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) and ISO/IEC 17025 is required, Lead Auditor is preferred;
• Ability to understand audit reference materials and standards, including but not limited to ASQ Quality 101, ISO 19011, ISO 31073, ISO 17043, and certification and accreditation body guidelines
• A strong understanding of management systems and guideline standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 10015, ISO 31000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17025), along with good knowledge of auditing procedures, is required;
• The ability to assess policies, procedures and processes for compliance with management systems and guideline standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 10015, ISO 31000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17025) is required;
• Ability in producing trend analysis reports is preferred;
• Strong attention to detail, organised, problem solving and analytical skills is preferred;
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and email correspondence is required;
• An ability to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel is preferred;
• A strong grasp of the English language is required;
• Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
