Key Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and validate waveform algorithms (modulation/demodulation, error correction, equalization, synchronization, frequency offset correction) for single- and multi-carrier systems
• Research advanced signal processing techniques for efficiency, robustness and error resilience
• Test performance across channel models (fading, noise, interference) using MATLAB, Simulink or Python
• Optimize algorithms for real-time hardware implementation (FPGA/DSP)
• Collaborate cross-functionally on modem integration, design reviews and stakeholder reporting

Education and Minimum Qualification

• 12+ years developing algorithms for wireless communication modems (e.g., 5G, WiFi, WiMax)
• Hands-on waveform optimization experience with strong grasp of comms standards/protocols
• Master's in EE, Telecom, CS or related (PhD a plus)

Key Skills

• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, C++/Python, with FPGA/ASIC hardware implementation exposure
• Strong grounding in channel modeling and performance metrics (BER, SNR, throughput)
