Key Accountabilities

• Lead the design and development of chemical propulsion systems
• Lead the design of chemical propulsion systems test setups, ensuring compliance with safety standards, ease of operability, and accurate performance testing. 
• Oversee system integration and ensure optimal performance of propulsion systems with overall vehicle architecture. Primarily integrating jet engines into aerial platforms 
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in propulsion technology, incorporating cutting-edge solutions into our projects.
• Serve as a technical expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship to entry level engineers. 
• Maintaining a strong oversight on safety and risk mitigation in the development, integration, and testing of any propulsion system.
• Ensuring the continuous development of junior engineers, through mentorship and enrolling them in appropriate training or degree programs.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules and identify key milestones and critical paths for the development and integration of propulsion systems.

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 12 years in Propulsion engineering and 5 years in a hands-on practical role
• Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable 
• Master’s or PhD. in Propulsion or other related fields.
• Advanced knowledge in combustion processes, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and thermofluid systems.
• Experience with propulsion system simulation and analysis tools, with emphasis on multiphase and fuel injection simulations.
