Top Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in using Altium or similar PCB design software for schematic capture, component library management, SPICE analysis, and layout design.
• Extensive experience in designing electronic safety and arming devices with adherence to military standards such as MIL-STD-1316.
• Design with advanced chip such as FPGA, MCUs, DDR memories
• Expertise in the layout design of advanced multilayer PCBs, incorporating advanced techniques such as blind-buried vias, via-in-pad strategies, Ball Grid Array (BGA) configurations, and Surface-Mount Technology (SMT)/Plated-Through-Hole (PTH) components.
• Proficient in designing PCBs for harsh environments common in military applications, which may involve special materials or design techniques.
• Specialized expertise in the design of embedded systems, including integrating passive and active components within the PCB substrate.
• Expertise in segregating analog and digital domains within PCB layouts to maintain signal integrity and minimize interference. 
• Drawing of the PCB layout for power system, including component placement, signal routing, power planes, and thermal management
• Ability to design for low EMI and noise, including proper grounding, shielding, and filtering
• Generation of the data-packs such as BOMs, Gerber, Assembly drawing.
• Ensure generation of detailed and accurate documentation for complex printed circuit boards conforming to applicable IPC and Military standards 
• Mentorship and training of junior technical personnel.
• Use of debugging tools such as integrated soft logic analyser
• Mentorship and training of junior technical personnel.
• Knowledge of microcontroller and digital signal processor architectures to optimize PCB designs for specific embedded applications.
• Ability to mitigate ESD issues in PCB layout.
• Conduct hardware testing and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
   

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in VHDL code writing
• Knowledge and understanding of Altium Designer
• Track record of successfully functioning PCB design in defense context
• Proven capability to troubleshoot hardware related to PCB prototypes
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering
• Digital electronics 
• Power supply buck, boost, fly-back, inverters, DC/DC 
• Altium Designer
