About the role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting production-related data to support dashboards, management reports, operational reviews, and decision-making. This role involves working with ERP systems including SAP/MES where applicable, databases, production records, KPI data, manpower data, OLE/OEE data, PR data, quality records, material and consumable data, internal and external support inputs, and other operational sources to ensure information is accurate, traceable, consistent, and useful for improving production performance, department control, and management visibility.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze production data from ERP/SAP/MES systems, databases, and operational sources.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL, Power Query, and Excel.
  • Monitor and report on key production KPIs including OEE/OLE, productivity, downtime, quality, and manpower utilization.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and cross-functional source verification.
  • Identify trends, performance gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis.
  • Support management decision-making through dashboards, insights, variance analysis, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and other stakeholders to improve reporting and data visibility.
  • Drive reporting automation, process improvements, and continuous enhancement of data management practices.

 


Basic Qualifications 

  • 0–4 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, dashboard development, reporting automation, ERP data support, operations analysis, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems Mathematics, or Engineering Such as (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electrical) or a related field.

 


Preferred Qualification 

  • Experience in a fast-paced, structured, cross-functional, production, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, finance, project, or operational environment, with exposure to ERP systems, SAP/MES, databases, Power BI, Excel, Power Query, SQL, KPI reporting, dashboard development, reporting automation, data validation, management reporting, and cross-functional data flow analysis.
  • Training or certification in Power BI, advanced Excel, Power Query, SQL, database management, ERP/SAP reporting, data visualization, business intelligence, statistics, process improvement, production analytics, operations analytics, data governance, reporting automation, or data modelling.
