About the role
- Support Sales Planning and execution across local and international markets
- Manage key clients (MOD, Tawazun, Intercompany, and Domestic/International Customers)
- Track and monitor all sales and delivery opportunities, budgets, forecasting, ordering, pricing, and delivery milestones
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing all activities related to order intake to ensure product delivery in accordance with contractual obligations and customer requirements
- Work with project managers to ensure successful delivery of product and service solutions, maintaining the highest level of customer support and ensuring each delivery is fully evaluated with customer feedback
- Physical escort of customer representatives through pre-delivery inspections and audits on the shop floor
- Develop and maintain databases to track Controlled Documents; register document numbers and log the return and destruction of controlled copies
- Data logging/entry into department databases and ERP (SAP)
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to support delivery and sales decisions
- Proactively govern and report on delivery status and risk, and recommend improvements to services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Investigate and analyze customer problems and propose solutions; expedite resolution of customer complaints and order issues
- Follow up and report on collection of credits
- Represent the customer in the internal product management committee
- Provide market intelligence on future requirements, demands, and delivery expectations
- Maintain proactive interface between business development and finance to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency to ensure that all costs are allocated and tracked on a project basis
- Oversee product exchanges and returns
- Manage the process of distribution of internal and external correspondence and ensure good relationships with internal and external clients
- Responsible for consolidation and storage of classified documentation and disposing of classified information as per project requirement
- Achieve international / local sales contracts deliveries and department KPI set by management on yearly basis
- Ensure key account management in optimizing existing customers revenues
- Expedites resolution of customers problems/complaints
Basic Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A degree in Business Management or Commerce
- 5 - 6 years work experience in a similar technical product focused environment
- Experience in a role that optimizes commercial processes and maximizes resources to meet deadlines
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge of Commercial policies and procedures
- Knowledge and application of Commercial techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
- Experience collating and analysing customer feedback and resolving concerns
- Excellent people skills demonstrated through the ability to work with multiple stakeholders regularly
- Proven Project Management and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- 8 years experience similar role within the defense industry
