Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements; implement change
• Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare project budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actions
• Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to accomplish project objectives
• Establish and maintain relationships with third party vendors, in support of Supply Chain department
• Create project documentation for project planning, requirements analysis, risk management, project execution and reporting
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations
• Perform risk assessments and manage the risk mitigation actions
• Manage any changes in project scope, schedule, cost or other issues
• Execute the project and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Ensure that quality and safety standards are adhered to and met
• Utilise the company databases and applications to keep track of project progress by controlling manpower and material expenses, accounting, costing and billing
• Regularly report the project’s progress to company management and, if applicable, to clients

Experience & Education:

• 8+ Years of project management experience; defense industry preferred, proven track record of leading a team and delivery of on time within budget projects
• Bachelor degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering

• PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred

• Strong people leadership skills in a cross matrix organizational environment
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills at all levels within the organization
• Very strong ability to plan, coordinate and drive the execution of project tasks assigned to project team members and suppliers
