Project Manager - Defence Systems & Electronics (Emirati Talent)

Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of departmental projects, delivering specialist professional services while ensuring timelines and standards are met. You will own projects end-to-end — from scope definition through execution — driving cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships to deliver results on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop project scopes, objectives, and plans involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility
• Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to accomplish project objectives
• Prepare and manage project budgets; forecast requirements, schedule expenditures and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Create and maintain project documentation covering planning, requirements analysis, risk management, execution and reporting
• Perform risk assessments and manage mitigation actions; handle changes in scope, schedule, and cost
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and systems; report progress regularly to management and clients
• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors in support of the Supply Chain department
• Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to throughout all project phases
• Utilize company databases and applications to track manpower, material expenses, accounting and billing
• Contribute to strategic plans and reviews; implement improvements in productivity, quality, and customer service

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
• PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
• 8+ years of project management experience; defense industry preferred
• Proven track record of leading a team and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred
