Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline, and resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure alignment with business goals.
Budget Management
- Prepare project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure cost control and value optimization.
- Report on budget variances and implement corrective measures when required.
Risk Management
- Proactively identify and assess potential risks to project delivery.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce project disruptions.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular status updates and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Time Management
- Monitor project schedules to ensure key milestones are met.
- Adjust plans as needed to address delays or changing priorities.
Quality Control
- Ensure project deliverables meet defined standards and requirements.
- Conduct quality reviews and facilitate continuous improvement.
Resource Allocation
- Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to deliver project objectives.
- Optimize resource usage to prevent bottlenecks or shortfalls.
Problem-Solving
- Identify issues early and implement practical, effective solutions.
- Manage conflicts and facilitate resolution among cross-functional teams.
Project Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and change requests.
- Ensure accurate records for audit, compliance, and lessons learned purposes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in a technical or defense-related industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to closure.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead teams and influence without authority
- Familiarity with procurement and contract management processes
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
