Job Summary:

The Project Manager shall be responsible for the Project Management of Development Projects in the Munitions Development Department at Halcon. Projects in the following areas are included:

• Warheads,
• Propulsion,
• Ammunitions (Direct and Indirect Fire),
• Propellants & Thermal Insulation and
• Explosives & Pyrotechnics

Key Accountabilities:

• Assume responsibility for the Project Management activities listed below of Development Projects in the Munitions Development Department
• Initiate Development Projects.
• Perform detail planning and costing of Development Projects
• Monitor and control Development Projects during the Concept, Design and Qualification phases.
• Conduct formal Project Close-out of Development Projects

Experience & Education Qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Project Management of Development Projects
• B Eng / B Tech Degree, Mechanical / Chemical or equivalent
• Broad technical experience of Development Projects
• Broad knowledge of Project Management
