About the role
The Incoming Inspector in LAHAB, will perform inspection and testing of production materials, verify the condition and compliance of production machines and tools, and ensure timely calibration and control of IMTEs to support product quality, compliance, and operational reliability.
Responsibilities:
Functional Role
- Carry out inspection & testing as per the incoming material inspection quality plan.
- Retain the information of inspection and test results.
- Maintain records as required by (IMS) Inventory Management System procedure.
- Ensure to attach the retained information of inspection & testing in SAP entries.
- Manage daily operations of the Empty Components Lab.
- Verify compliance of incoming materials against approved specifications, drawings, standards, and quality agreements.
HSE Roles and Responsibilities:
- Comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures;
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems;
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures;
- Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety;
- Assist with the preparation of risk assessments; and
- Report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues
Basic Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- High school diploma with good mathematics skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing quality control process for Incoming components
- Familiar to visual inspection standards, drawings, and quality agreements
- Experience of Quality Management Systems like ISO 9001 and ISO or IEC 17025
- Good verbal communication
- Basic report writing skills
- Basic computer literacy in MS Office packages especially MS Word and MS Excel
Preferred Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic
- Incoming inspection experience in the Defense industry
