Job Purpose
The Requisitioner is responsible for initiating, tracking, and coordinating material and service requisitions to support operational and project requirements. The role ensures timely availability of materials while maintaining compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise purchase requisitions (PRs) for materials, equipment, and services in line with project and operational needs.
- Coordinate with end users, engineering, finance, maintenance, and warehouse teams to validate requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all requisitions comply with company policies, approval matrices, and budget controls.
- Follow up with Procurement and Supply Chain teams on PR status, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of requisitions, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Support demand planning by consolidating and forecasting material requirements.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to quantities, specifications, or delivery timelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- • Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports to support decision-making processes. Example of reports; ie requisition status, turnaround time, and outstanding requests.
- Ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and compliance standards relevant to supply chain operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a requisitioning, procurement, or supply chain role.
- Experience working with SAP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
