About the Role.
As a CAD Designer at ADASI, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge autonomous systems and defense technologies. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and design documentation that support the prototyping and manufacturing of advanced unmanned platforms across air, land, and sea. This role requires precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of mechanical and aerospace components. You'll be part of a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where innovation, quality intersect—making your work both technically challenging and deeply impactful.
What you Bring.
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of work experience in an aerospace or mechanical design environment.
• Working knowledge of CAD packages, Catia or SolidWorks
• Working knowledge of PDM/PLM systems
• Knowledge of Aircraft/Mechanical design
• Knowledge of composite designs
• Understanding of design principles
Key Responsibilities.
• Produce conceptual CAD designs of aeronautical/mechanical products.
• Produce complete manufacturing data packs for production (assemblies, parts & BOMs).
• Maintenance of relevant CAD models, including “buy” parts within the PLM/PDM system.
• Configuration of manufacturing data packs.
• Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to relevant design & drafting standards and ADASI code of conduct.
