Senior Draughtsman (Mechanical) - CREO & Harness

Are you an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Draughtsman to join our dynamic team at Halcon Drawing Office.

About the Role:

As a Senior Draughtsman - Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mechanical production of our innovative Halcon products. Your expertise will be pivotal in designing and producing detailed drawings for production tools, jigs, and assisting with the development of detailed concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pack Support: Provide essential support in the mechanical production of Halcon products, ensuring the accuracy and quality of mechanical data packs.
• Design and Drawings: Create and maintain design and manufacturing drawings for production tools, jigs, and other components.
• Modeling and Detailing: Collaborate with engineering teams to model and detail sub-components, enhancing product functionality and performance.
• Tools and Equipment: Design and support the development of tools and equipment for production and testing facilities.
• Library Management: Develop and maintain a library of components to streamline design and manufacturing processes.
• Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior draughtsmen in using Creo and Windchill software to foster skill development and technical proficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and relevant standards.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in creating manufacturing drawings, mechanical data packs, and knowledge of engineering structures.
• Qualifications: Relevant Mechanical or Electronic qualification, such as a degree, diploma, or technical certificate.
• Experience: Broad general knowledge of engineering with hands-on experience in mechanical designs, structures, and manufacturing processes.
