Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Design Engineer to lead the development of advanced electronic systems for mission‑critical defence and high‑technology applications. In this role, you will drive the full engineering lifecycle—from requirements and detailed design to prototyping, testing, and production—while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical excellence. This position offers UAE Nationals the opportunity to work on state‑of‑the‑art technologies, contribute to national capability development, and play a key role in shaping innovative engineering solutions for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of analogue, digital, mixed‑signal, and power electronic systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation including requirements, design specifications, ICDs, and qualification/acceptance test procedures.
• Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and electrical harness designs using industry‑standard ECAD tools.
• Build, test, and debug prototype hardware, driving design reviews and implementing improvements across product lines.
• Ensure compliance with military, IPC, safety‑critical, and regulatory standards, performing design assessments and safety reviews.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of components, assemblies, and full systems; recommend corrective actions or enhancements.
• Lead configuration management activities, supporting engineering change proposals, deviations, concessions, and data pack accuracy.
• Select and qualify electronic components, ensuring reliability, cost‑effectiveness, availability, and long‑term sustainability.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence, skills development, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, software, systems, manufacturing, and test engineering to deliver integrated product solutions.

Experience & Education:

• 6 yrs electronic designs and first-hand fault-finding experience
• Testing and Evaluate PCB designs from conceptual, through simulation to actual hardware.
• Proven experience in schematic creation and testing and design, PCB design, and harness design.
• Should demonstrate Experience managing the full product lifecycle from concept to production and support.

Key Skills:

• Experience with electrical harness design and integration.
• Experience with power electronics and servo power electronics.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing, instrumentation, and debugging.
• Ability to translate design concepts into cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.
