Job Summary:

 

The Senior Fleet Officer plays a key role in ensuring thorough follow-ups and coordination for optimal utilization of Drivers & Vehicles, and responsible to keep track & update the Fleet Maintenance Plan with actual, Fleet Schedule, Fleet Activities & Analysis, Shipments and related Clearings (ERP), etc.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implements departmental vehicle activities consistent with policies and procedures developed by the management in order to promote safe, cost-effective, and appropriate operation of company vehicles
  • Disseminates vehicle and safety information to drivers
  • Collects, reviews, and maintains information such as monthly vehicle usage reports, quarterly personal mileage reports, etc.
  • Provides reports, as requested, to the line manager
  • Provides departmental drivers with UAE Rules and maintains record of written acknowledgement by drivers
  • Conducts periodic driving record review
  • Assures departmental compliance with timely accident and vehicle damage reporting requirements, vehicle safety inspections, and emissions inspections
  • Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
  • Registering and licensing all vehicles under their management
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
  • Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency
  • Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.

 

Experience & Education Qualifications:

 

 

  • Minimum: 7 years’ experience working in Logistics or Supply Chain related to \Fleet maintenance  Plan, Schedules & Fleet Activities

Any Diploma holder

 

  • Preferred: Any Bachelor’s Degree holder.
