About the Role
The team is seeking a Senior Investigator to strengthen investigative leadership, operational capability, and training delivery. The role will lead complex and sensitive investigations, providing oversight, guidance, and hands-on support to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes aligned with organisational governance and security objectives. The successful candidate will also drive investigative best practice, mentor personnel, and lead the design and delivery of intelligence, OSINT, and investigations training programs to enhance capability and operational effectiveness across partner organisations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex and sensitive investigations, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with organisational governance, security, and risk management objectives.
- Produce actionable investigative reports, intelligence assessments, and executive briefings to support decision-making and legal review processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, intelligence, security, and forensic specialists, to deliver integrated and compliant investigative outcomes.
- Design, deliver, and oversee specialist training programs in investigations, intelligence, and OSINT, enhancing capability across internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expertise, mentoring, and capability development support, driving best practice in investigative tradecraft, operational effectiveness, and training delivery.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have demonstrable experience investigating organised crime, cybercrime, and conducting OSINT-driven intelligence operations, with a proven track record in leading complex, multi-agency investigations.
- Ability to work effectively within sensitive, high-trust environments and manage complex stakeholder interactions.
- At least 10 years of law enforcement experience
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and executive-level presentations.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven background in leading or instructing undercover operations training or related law enforcement programs.
- Served as a full-time undercover operative and/or undercover supervisor, and have received formal undercover training delivered by a recognized Five Eyes (FVEY) agency.
- Experience in backstopping and development of undercover training programs.
- Undercover Course and or Undercover Supervisors course
- Additional languages highly advantageous.
