Senior Manager, Supply and Materials

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Authorised Stockage List (ASL) for all stores.
• Review the Annual Service Plan (ASP) spares requirements and facilitate the preparation of the annual maintenance plan.
• Assist in the identification, implementation and monitoring of performance metrics to ensure KPIs are attained or exceeded.
• Ensure that the storage and disposal of all hazardous materials is in accordance with all environmental directives.
• Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
• Provide input on strategic and tactical direction, coaching and the development of junior managers and technical staff.
• Use management reports to identify negative trends and streamline the Supply and Materials process.
• Facilitate continuous improvement actions and LEAN techniques to enhance Supply and Materials Department performance.
• Provide inputs to the annual budget, approve and monitor monetary expenditures.
• Direct Supply and Materials Department employees in the preparation for audits, and review and implement the required actions.
• Direct the annual review of Department policies, procedures and practices.
• Ensure the Supply and Materials Department is in compliance with all contract requirements.
• Ensure that the appropriate training and development needs of Supply and Materials Department employees are identified and met.
• Ensure that all stores maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, safety, hazardous material storage and property accountability.
• Ensure that all tools, test equipment and high value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documents.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director, Supply and Material

Experience and Education :

• Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics or a related field required Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in same field
• A minimum of eight to ten years of experience managing a team in logistics or supply operations is required.
• Previous military and/or automotive experience is an advantage.
• Previous experience using a CMMS such as MAXIMO, SAP etc. is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies, practices and processes in a supply setting is an advantage.

Key Skills:

• The ability to analyse data and experience in strategic planning is required.
• Proven people and/or project management skills are an advantage.
• Experience managing and maintaining multiple warehouse activities is preferred.
• An excellent grasp of Microsoft Office software is required.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.  
• Must have valid UAE driver’s license.
