Role Purpose


The Senior Process Quality Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining product-related configuration data and digital records to ensure full product traceability, compliance, and acceptance for client release.
This role provides governance over the Electronic Build History Database (eBHD), configuration data packs, serial number control, and labelling accuracy, while offering critical administrative and system support to mechatronics engineering, assembly, and test teams. The role operates at the intersection of engineering, quality, and configuration management, ensuring documentation excellence across the full production lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and control product configuration data, build history records, and documentation using eBHD, SAP, and PLM systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability of production records throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Administer and maintain the eBHD system, including route cards, inspection templates, and user access.
  • Provide system support and user training to mechatronics production and test teams.
  • Control serial numbering and labelling to ensure correct product identification and build alignment.
  • Support shop-floor activities by monitoring route card progress and resolving documentation issues in real time.
  • Manage quality notifications, deviations, and concessions, ensuring proper recording and closure in SAP.
  • Generate certificates of conformance and client release documentation in line with contractual and quality requirements.
  • Perform quality checks, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
  • Support inventory control, including non-conforming material management, audits, and inventory reporting.

 

Education

  • Minimum Technical Diploma in Corporate Management, Quality Management, or a related field.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in production administration or manufacturing data systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with eBHD, SAP, or equivalent digital manufacturing platforms.
  • PLM and manufacturing documentation systems
  • Build history recording
  • Serial number and labelling control
  • Quality notification and change control processes
