About the role
The Senior QC Officer at LAHAB is responsible for performing all production related in process inspection & final inspections per the specification.
The successful candidate will show commitment to ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. You will need to demonstrate expert skill in implementing effective quality control systems, analyzing data to reduce defects, and maintain high production standards while supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
- Support daily technical problem‑solving and assist with complex inspections and analysis.
- Propose improvements and guide QC inspectors as needed.
- Assist the Supervisor and QC team, including data collection for analysis.
- Conduct low‑complexity in‑process rejection investigations.
- Inspect production activities at all stages through final product inspection per specifications.
- Perform surveillance inspections and tests according to the Quality Plan.
- Record, report and retain inspection and testing results.
- Maintain required IMS and departmental documentation.
HSE Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide OSH information, training and supervision.
- Assist in preparing risk assessments and applying appropriate control measures.
- Report OSH hazards and incidents promptly.
Experience & Education Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering field
- 3–5 years of experience in a direct QC role that extends to managing flow process in large production environments
- Expert knowledge of Gauges, technical drawing reading and of tests and Quality procedures
- Demonstrated Statistical Analysis skills
- Computer literacy
- English language skills (oral and written)
Preferred Experience
- Intermediate experience managing quality for explosives
- Understanding of explosives/ammunition environment
- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing Arabic.
