ABOUT THE ROLE
About POWERTECH
POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform software verification activities for safety-critical embedded software.
- Develop requirements-based test procedures.
- Execute test runs and analyze results.
- Perform software analyses such as data/control coupling and structural coverage analysis.
- Document verification results and prepare verification reports.
- Maintain requirements traceability between requirements, tests, and code.
- Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test setup, execution, and verification activities.
- Work in coordination with software, system, and certification teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical/Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge and experience in DO-178C processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in C and/or C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge and experience in software development and/or software verification processes.
- Experience in requirements-based test development, integration testing, and unit testing.
- Knowledge and experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Knowledge and experience in bare-metal software development.
- Knowledge of software architectures.
- Knowledge and experience in communication interfaces and protocols such as RS-232/422/485, CAN bus, ARINC 825, ARINC 429, ARINC 664, MIL-STD-1553, and Ethernet (TCP/UDP).
- Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test environments.
- Experience with configuration, change, and requirements management tools such as Git, JIRA, DOORS, JAMA, etc.
- Experience in test automation and test infrastructure.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of the ARINC 653 standard.
- Familiarity with structural coverage objectives (statement, decision, MC-DC) per software level.
- Experience with qualified verification tools and tool qualification (DO-330).
