Role Overview
The Senior Finance Specialist is responsible for overseeing financial activities and acting as the key liaison with EDGE Technologies LLC. The role covers financial planning, project finance, and reporting, while partnering closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting with strong analytical and business modelling capabilities
- Develop and monitor financial forecasts, including project cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Analyze variances (Budget vs. Forecast vs. Actual) and present insights to management with a high level of attention to detail
- Partner with Procurement and HR to plan resource costs, contractor spend, and headcount, demonstrating strong cross-functional collaboration
Project Finance & Performance Management

- Manage project financials, including cost, revenue, and profitability tracking, ensuring strong budget control and risk identification
- Deliver monthly project performance reports and profitability analysis to senior stakeholders
- Work closely with Program Managers and Engineering teams to evaluate R&D and product development costs using advanced analytics
- Monitor resource utilization and ensure accurate month-end close activities, maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability
- Support funding and compliance reporting requirements where applicable
Governance & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to EDGE accounting policies, IFRS standards, and Delegation of Authority
- Support internal and external audits with strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements (including SAP S/4HANA), driving efficiency and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience

- Professional certification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA)
- 8–10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within R&D or product development environments

- Advanced financial modelling, analytics, and Excel expertise (including dashboards and automation)
- Proficiency in Power BI and strong systems acumen
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex data
- High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration across functions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
