We are hiring a strong, execution-focused Senior Specialist to support the Group Supply Chain Finance team. This role blends financial analysis, manufacturing cost support, business case development, and dashboard reporting. You’ll work across 35+ entities to help drive supply chain savings, improve visibility, and support executive decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Finance & BOM Analysis
- Support product cost analysis, including BOM reviews, labor, overhead, and material costing.
- Assist with make-vs-buy evaluations and cost breakdown analysis for sourcing decisions.
- Work with Engineering and Procurement to validate supplier quotes against internal cost structures.
- Savings Tracking & Supply Chain Reporting
- Maintain and update the Group SCM Savings Tracker with both actual and planned initiatives.
- Build reports on procurement spend, logistics costs, inventory levels, and performance KPIs.
- Ensure data integrity across entities and automate reporting where feasible (Excel, Power BI).
- Business Case Development
- Support the Director with financial models and ROI analysis for major initiatives (e.g. inventory optimization, procurement centralization, 3rd party logistics).
- Prepare quick-turnaround business cases and cost-benefit analyses for executive decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Consolidate inputs for supply chain budgeting and forecast reviews (material cost, freight, outsourcing, CAPEX).
- Track variances vs budget across supply chain categories and entities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar.
- 4+ years in a finance or supply chain analytics role — ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or defense sector.
- Strong with Excel (formulas, pivots, models), decent with Power BI, basic SQL a plus.
- Hands-on with ERP data (SAP, Oracle, AX); understands cost centers, POs, BOMs, etc.
- Thinks like a finance person but speaks operations — you can bridge both worlds.
- Sharp, structured, and reliable. You don’t need babysitting. You manage deliverables and own your work.

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled at using data to identify and solve supply chain challenges.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and present complex data findings effectively.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of the defense industry and its specific supply chain challenges is a plus.
- Continuous Learning: Ability to stay updated on the latest advancements in DA and BI technologies.
