Role Purpose:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of RF components, including antennas, transmitters, and receivers, with a strong expertise in installation, testing, and evaluation. In this role, you will manage RF laboratory operations, collaborate across departments, and lead a team of technicians to meet and exceed organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & Evaluation: Lead the preparation, acceptance testing, and qualification of RF products in line with industry standards and electromagnetic requirements.

• RF Lab Management: Oversee the inventory and operations of RF lab equipment, including anechoic chamber calibration.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver successful RF projects.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and contractors, providing guidance, training, and fostering growth.

• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed records of procedures, repairs, and maintenance activities.

General Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including service providers.

• Proficient in technical report writing with a focus on clarity and precision.

• Strong mentoring and training abilities to guide junior personnel.

• Proven leadership skills to supervise and manage a team effectively.

Specific Job Competencies:

• Expertise with a wide range of RF test equipment, such as Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.

• Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities at both the subsystem and system levels.

• Comprehensive understanding of the systems engineering process, including acceptance testing, qualification, field testing, and flight testing.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and RF measurement techniques, such as antenna gain, return loss (VSWR), and S-parameters.

Experience:

• Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in the field of Radio Frequency and Electromagnetics.

• Demonstrated experience applying electromagnetic principles in development engineering, with both theoretical and practical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Physics or Electromagnetics Technology from an accredited institution
