Senior Technician - QC

ADVANCED CONCEPTS is an entity within EDGE dedicated to the design and deployment of advanced, innovative technologies. ADVANCED CONCEPTS is fast-tracking the development of high-technology autonomous systems, including three Medium Endurance, High Altitude, fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, a family of precision loitering munitions, a cost- effective family of cruise missiles, and a range of guided artillery munitions.

Core Accountabilities:

Lead the quality control function for incoming, in-process, and final inspection of all machined and fabricated components.
Supervise QC inspectors and ensure adherence to quality procedures, drawings, and customer specifications.
Review and approve inspection reports, maintain traceability records, and manage nonconformance documentation.
Coordinate with production, design, and planning teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and manage CMM operations and inspection routines.
Support audits, prepare quality documentation, and drive continuous improvement in QC practices.
Maintain quality standards in compliance with ISO/AS9100 or customer-specific requirements.

Qualification / Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Quality Engineering or equivalent. 
6–8 years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality inspection tools.
Proficient in using measuring instruments including CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators.
Experience in documenting NCRs, CAPAs, and maintaining inspection records.
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO standards and internal audit processes.
Experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, or defense sectors
